• Standard opening hours:

  • Friday to Sunday: 10 :00 a.m. – 8 :00 p.m. Happy to Wander+1

• Special hours:

  • 24 December: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Bon Traveler+1

• A special Gourmet Market and a festive area at Place Rapp stay open longer — until around 4 January 2026, with hours 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily. Noël à Colmar+1

How Many Markets & Where They Are

Colmar doesn’t have just one festive market — it has six distinct Christmas market sites across its historic centre.
Here are some of the main locations:

• Place des Dominicains: an artisan-arts market set beside the Church of the Dominicans.

• Place Jeanne-d’Arc: themed like a traditional Alsace village, with delis & regional specialities.

• Place de l’Ancienne Douane: “Little Venice” setting, large scenic chalets & sweet photo spots.

• Square de la Montagne Verte: for the gourmet market (food, wine, cosy indoor huts) that runs longer.
